Principal and staff profiles
Welcome from our Principal
Mr Nick Joyce, School Principal
Welcome to St Agnes School
As highly committed educators we collaborate and plan in professional learning communities to support our site improvement priorities aligned with the Australian Curriculum learning areas. Our staff take great pride in providing a rigorous curriculum including Spanish, Performing Arts and Physical Education specialist lessons.
To maximise learning for students to achieve their personal best and provide a safe and supportive learning environment we have partnered with The Resilience Project. This is a whole school approach from Preschool to year 6 to teach positive mental health strategies to build young people’s capacity to deal with adversity.
Our student leaders are involved in decision making and supporting younger students to have authentic student voice in the function and improvement of our school.
The school offers a vibrant Pre-school and Playgroup program as well as an OSHC program that operates before school, after school and during vacation periods.
Extra-curricular activities are offered through our kitchen/garden program, Festival Choir, instrumental music, SAPSASA events and camp.
Our motto ‘Learning today, leading tomorrow’ encompasses our philosophy of offering a high-quality education to our future leaders.
Enrolment enquires are welcome. Families who are considering our school are encouraged to attend a Principal’s tour through booking with the front office.
